Where did March go?!
Yikes.
At the beginning of March, Andy was in Atlanta. He flew home late Thursday night and Friday at lunchtime, the big girls and I were off to one of our favorite cities, Chicago!!!
We had tickets to the "Secret Keeper Girl Pajama Party"!
What's that, you might ask?
You can check it out HERE.
And since we all love memorable stories...here's how it happened:
Months ago, my Mom sent me an article about a book "6 Ways to keep the Little in your Little Girl" by Dannah Gresh. I almost threw out the clipping without reading it. ALMOST.
However, something caught my eye and I read it...and then jumped onto the computer to seek out this book on Amazon.com. I immediately downloaded it to my Kindle and I was hooked. It was a FABULOUS book; and it also had little snippets from Gresh's blog.
I tried to find that blog one day and discovered that in Andy's old stomping grounds, there was going to be a Secret Keeper Girl event...at the church where Aunt Rachel and Uncle Scott were married! I got tickets for Ellie, Jayna and myself and off we went!
We had a blast!
Here are some pictures....taken with my cell phone--I forgot the camera!
You will see Ellie and Jayna posing on the hotel bed with 1 small suitcase and 1 tote bag! THAT is all we took, besides the girls' backpacks with their homework! This is proof that the 3 Glynns who stayed in WI are at fault for how much we usually take when we travel... ;)

The event was out of this world spectacular! It was full of God, full of affirmation of these precious girls being unique creations that are loved for who they are, there was prayer time for moms/daughters, there were books to buy (which we bought) and the girls were fully entertained the entire 3ish hours of the event. We'd go back in a heart-beat, for sure!
On Saturday, we hit Jamba Juice (again, Ellie had numerous choices on their menu too!), Container Store, Ikea, and grabbed lunch at Portillos (again!) before heading home to WI. Andy and the little 2 kiddos had a nice weekend as well--he unpacked my old dance costumes, which Ava loved...and he made a "hole" in the snow for the kids to play in. He also opened our house to the 94 cases of Girl Scout Cookies that the 4th grade troop sold! When I got home, it was time to sort out each girls' order! The weekend was jam packed!

Andy took Ellie and Jayna to see Les Miserables at a local high school.
Prior to the show, he had told them the story line and shown them a Broadway snippet of the play. He also said "now Girls...it's "just" a high school production!"...and 1/2 way through the play, he texted me that it was amazing and just wonderful! They said that the voices/set etc were outstanding! They all loved their afternoon together.
