Minneapolis Trip--Ava

Here is Ava at the Mall of America...she LOVED the rides, but really loved getting an American Girl! We were not going to get her an American Girl until she was older, and she knew that. On the way to Minneapolis she said "I really wish I could have an American Girl....will I ever get one?" To which we responded "When you are older!" Our plan had been to either let her get a Build A Bear or a Friend 2B Made...however our great plan changed when we went INTO the American Girl store. Andy took her on a walk around the store, and she was very interested in the dolls. He noticed that in the store, you can buy the Bitty Twins separately, something we had never seen advertised. And, the price for 1 twin was just a little more than we thought we'd end up spending at BAB or F2BM....so we surprised her by telling her she could pick out a twin! I wish we could have captured her joy on the camera as she said "TODAY?!?!?!?" Here she is with her twin Samantha Glynn. She just loves her.
