We have had a busy week....and it is just getting busier!
Yesterday,
So, since Jayna went to school in the morning today (usually she attends the pm kindergarten!), I planned a special surprise for Ava. I let her wear a dress and did not tell her where we were going. As we drove down College Ave, she said "I think we're going to the Children's Museum!!!" Yep...we were! I wish I would have captured her realization of that on camera--she was so excited. Colin went with us (trapped in the stroller of course), and here are some fun pictures from our time at the museum. We let Colin out for a few minutes in the baby garden area...and he was hilarious--exploring the big huge fruit statues. He wasn't really sure WHAT to think of all the stimulation of the museum! For the first 15 minutes we were there, the museum was empty and Ava was just floating around on a happy cloud--it was absolutely precious. It was a good reminder of how important individual attention to each child is!
And tomorrow--not only do we have school Valentine parties....but it is Jayna's 1/2 Birthday! New Hope celebrates the 1/2 birthdays of the kiddos who have summer birthdays and Jayna absolutely LOVES that her 1/2 birthday falls right next to Valentine's Day. So...back to baking I go....to make the 1/2 birthday treat!!!!

Happy 100th day J! Looks like you had a wonderful day.
What a fun day out with Ava. That giant strawberry looks like it is going to get Colin! I hope you saved him.
Dear Katie:
Just getting caught up on your blog. You are so creative! Love the stories and the pictures of your sweet children. Jayna was so dear today, and very proud that her mother made the cupcakes. :)
You are mother extraordinaire!
Love,
Andrea
