Ellie had her 1st piano recital today and she did so well! It was funny this morning, as Andy and I were giving her 'hints' on what to do...telling her how to bow (we decided she'd curtsy...and she ended up bowing!). Andy even told her to bow, smile and say "Thank you" when people were clapping! She settled on doing what the other kids did! :)
This photo is Ellie and 2 of her 2nd grade school friends, Abby and Bree. Bree also played beautifully in the recital and Abby came with her mom to watch the girls!Here are the videos of Ellie's songs: Ode To Joy and Classic Dance. Elli did amazing, and she loved playing for everyone! (And as a side note, she did especially great for testing positive for strep throat YESTERDAY morning! It's amazing how just 24 hours of antibiotics can take a person from comatose to lively!)

Ellie did great at her recital! I could tell she knew those pieces very well, as there was no hesitation or mistakes! Yay Ellie!
WAY TO GO ELLIE!!! The video is almost as good as being there but not quite! I am very proud of you and can tell that you practiced to make that the best preformance you could give.
